Carlos Plazola of Decrim Nature on Plant Medicines and the Legal System | The Lex Files | Ep. 17

In 2019, Decrim Nature helped pass a measure in Oakland that decriminalized adult use of plant medicines, effectively directing law enforcement not to investigate or prosecute people for use of psychoactive plants and fungi. This legislative victory has sparked a legalization movement around the world. 

Carlos Plazola has been at the forefront of this movement from the beginning.
